This year we had Christmas in Logan with Landon's family. We had such a great time getting to be with everyone and celebrate the holiday! We made gingerbread houses, decorated sugar cookies, played games, and just had so much fun! Hunter had such a good time with all of his cousins, it's so fun because they are all so close in age, they just basically go crazy like you would expect 2 year olds to do! Just wanted to catch everybody up on what has been going on with our little family! Hunt is 2 now, and is cute as ever!!! He is such a good kid and has such an imagination, he loves movies and horses, for being 2 he is actually a really really good kid the only thing we really struggle with is his eating habits all he wants is junk so if anyone has ideas on getting a 2 year old to eat that would be so much help!

Will is doing great! He is getting so big, thank goodness since he only weighed 5 pounds 2 ounces when he was born. He is almost 10 pounds now and is almost 24 inches long, skinny and tall!! After he was born we found out that he is actually our little miracle baby. I guess his cord ended up being really twisted in the womb and he was barley getting anything to eat for the last week and a half before he was born. They think that he weighed more but lost while he was still inside me. We are so lucky I opted to have a repeat c-section and had him at 39 weeks or we could have had a really bad out come. We are so blessed that he came here safe to us, a little skinny but safe! He is such a smiler and is such a good baby, he only cries when he is hungry and only wakes up once a night if even at all! We are so lucky to have him in our family, and Hunter loves him so much!

Landon and I are just busy, busy! Landon is graduating next Monday, and I am so proud of him. He has always worked 40+ hour work weeks and taken a full class load and now he is finally finished! We are eager to see what will come next for him in life and keep you all updated on that! I am just doing the mom thing, running around with a 2 year old and a newborn is actually easier than I thought it would be but I can thank my kids for that! They are both so good and really fun so it makes my life great!! I am working hard on trying to get some what of my body back!! Easier said than done!! But overall we are great and so happy! We are so looking forward to Christmas in Logan this year, I will try to keep everyone updated as much as I get the will power to write on this thing!!

I know I never post but I did just want to share with you some so fun pics of my boys... how lucky can a girl get? I am so blessed to now have 3 way handsome boys in my life and its the best!

Landon and I welcomed our new little guy on Tuesday the 14th and we could not be happier, he is a little guy weighing only 5 pounds 2oz (we don't know why he is so little I was full term and was measuring on the whole time)!! His big brother is pretty crazy about him too! So to say the least we are loving life right now, and I am so in love with all of my boys!!

I guess I just wanted to post on here about some news that really isn't news to us anymore!!! For those of you that don't know Landon and I are going to be expecting baby number 2 mid September. So that means I actually only have about 12 weeks left, this pregnancy is just flying by and I can't believe that we are going to have a new little one so soon!! We found out that we are going to have another boy, so Hunter will have a friend, and we are so excited!! The will almost be 2 years apart to the day, so that will also be a fun adventure all in it self!
In other things that are going on Landon is almost done with school, only one semester left, I could not be more excited or proud of him! He has worked so hard working full time and taking usually about 16 credits and still making time for me and Hunter! He is really the greatest! We are so lucky to have him!! Then come January we don't really know what are plans are, we have a couple of options so we will keep you posted!!
Hunter is getting so so big! He will be 2 years old in about 3 months, and I can't believe how fast time has gone by! He is so funny and loves to be the center of attention trying to make anyone he can laugh! I really don't think that he has a shy bone in his body but then I guess you can look at his parents and not be surprised by that! He is talking up a storm and he is more and more fun everyday!
As for me I am just waiting for the baby to come and being a mommy! We also are getting ready to put our duplex in Pocatello on the market so we have been painting, putting new floors and carpet in and cleaning, and that is keeping me really busy! (its so much work!!)
We can't wait to see what this summer is going to bring and we are so excited to meet out new little guy!! I will try to keep anyone that reads this posted ( that is if anyone even reads it!!).

Hunter Update

Our little guy is growing up so fast! He is almost 17 months old! In the past couple of months he has really grown into a little boy and for sure isn't a baby anymore! He is talking up a storm, running all over the place and giving us a run for our money He can say about 20 words and it is so much fun to listen to him talk. Taylor Halloween Party

This last weekend we got to go to Logan, Utah. I love, love Logan, when we got there the roads were covered with leaves and the weather was beautiful, it was going to be a great weekend to have the Taylor Halloween Party! On Friday night my sister-in law Sheena and I attempted to make carmel apples, and let me tell you that endeavor seemed like it would be ALOT easier than it was! Lets just say they really didn't look as we planned (all the carmel basically oozed off the apples!!) but hopefully we can try again next year with better luck!(Any tips are appreciated!!) Anyway the party was Saturday and Sheena put together a fun scavenger hunt and it was a blast (the girls won!!). That night we went to The Pumpkin Walk in Logan and it was so much fun. The Pumpkin Walk was basically scenes from kids movies like Bugs Life and Toy Story made out of pumpkins, so cute! If you ever are in Logan around the last weeks of October it is a must go activity. Hunter loved it, he kept looking at all the scenes and pointing and saying Oooo, it was so much fun and I think that we will go in all the years to come. So I know probably no one reads our blog anymore...which I get, why would you if I never ever update it!!! Every time I do a blog post I always promise myself that I am going to be better at posting, and guess what... I NEVER am so I am not promising anything anymore! But I did think that it might be a fun idea to show you some pictures from our fun and so busy summer. We had so much happen from going to vegas, moving to Shelly Idaho, trips to Bear Lake, and Hunter getting bigger everyday. (I really can't believe that I have a one year old...birthday party pics to come soon, and when I say soon hopefully that will be before he is 2 but like I said I am not promising anything!!) We had such a fun summer, and we are really loving the fall that is finally showing up! Landon is still in school and working full time at Mountain View Hospital as a Physical Therapy Asst. And I am still at home with Hunter, I am so blessed that I can be a stay at home mom. Hunter is almost walking and saying a few words, he is such a cute and sweet little boy we love him so much. We just had family pictures, and Hunter's first birthday party so as soon as I get those pictures I will post them!

Much Needed Update

Well life has been busy, as it always is! Landon, Hunter, and I have been living in Logan, Utah with Landon's parents while Landon finishes his last clinical. We have been having so much fun being down in Logan, Landon's parents have been so great and easy to live with! We have already been there for five weeks and we only have 2 weeks left, I can't believe it! The seven weeks have gone by so so fast! Hunter is getting so big, i can't believe he is already almost 7 months old! we went to the doctor a few weeks ago for his 6 month appt. and these were his stats....WEIGHT 18pounds 4ounces 61 percentile HEIGHT 27 1/2 inches 62 percentile....the nurse said he looks like a nine month old! He is starting to get so fun...this last week he cut his first tooth and I didn't even know until I stuck my finger in his mouth and realized it was there, he wasn't fussy or anything! Hunter is loving his solid foods, he loves veggies and hates fruit! He is sitting up so good, and is so curious about everything (once he can crawl we are in HUGE trouble)!

So the school year for Landon is winding down and he is almost done with his Physical Therapy Asst. program, we are so excited for him to finish his bachelor and apply to PT school! But before all of that we are going on our much needed break, and boy does Landon need it, he has been working 10 hours a day every day of the week for these past seven weeks, and I can tell he is so burnt out! He usually can't even stay awake till 10:00, and normally we go to be about midnight! But I am so grateful for him...he is the best! And it will be so nice for us to go to Vegas and be in the heat...and just relax!

Ok so the weather will be getting nicer sooner or later...and when it does I want to be able to go running outside. Well now that I am a mom I can't go without my little guy! So I need to get a jogger so I can take Hunter with me, does anyone have any suggestions on what brand or more specifically what kind of jogger I should look into getting?

Alright, since I had Hunter I have been wanting to lose the weight and then some....My goal is to be about 15 pounds thinner than when I got married. Well I have been eating really healthy, and working out about 4 times a week.I have been seeing results, but I want to take it up a notch and decided to maybe run in a race. I started looking at different blogs and was really inspired by this blog. The woman that writes this blog lost about 46 pounds and she started with this program that I am now going to follow! I have read the program and I don't think it sounds to hard, its just going to take commitment! I have registered for my first race, a 5k in Pocatello, its on May 15th thats the day before Landon and I go to Vegas, so hopefully that will help me be in shape by then! By the end of the summer I want to be able to do a 10k and Landon wants me to train to do a triathlon in Bear Lake(we will see!) So I will let all of you know how my training is going. I know I am not starting out big but I have to start somewhere, I would really love to be able to get myself to run a half marathon, but for right now I am taking baby steps but I am really excited! And to top everything off I asked my mom if she wanted to train and run the 5k with me and she is going to! So wish me luck...I am really excited for the next nine weeks of training and the race! If any of you runners out there have any tips let me know...from what to eat while you train, to good music to listen to that would be great!

5 things to be grateful for!!

I have been thinking a lot lately about how grateful and blessed I am!

Heavenly Father has blessed me with so many things

especially, so many wonderful people!

First of all I am so so blessed to have such an awesome husband!

Landon works so hard for our family,

since we Landon and I started dating he has worked a full time job

and had a full 16 credit class load, he really is so amazing to me!

Not only is Landon such a hard worker he is so much fun,

there isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't make me

Laugh so hard, he really has such an amazing personality!

I LOVE him SO much!

Second, I am so grateful for my little Hunter. He has such a sweet

and loving spirit! I look at him everyday

and just wonder how I got so lucky to have him!

I am so excited to watch him grow up!

Third, I am so glad for the family that I have!

We are all a little crazy but thats what makes life fun!

I am so blessed to have 3 brothers that are all amazing

Preston, is serving a mission

Reed, is a senior in High School

Jed, is in 8th grade

they are all so awesome and I am so happy that I have such

great relationships with them.

My parents are so great! They are such a great support

for me! They have helped me so much and continue to do so,

I really could not ask for better.

I know that I already talked about my parents, But I have to single out my mom!

She is so awesome, and is really my best friend!

We always have the best time together, and since I am the only

girl, I am really grateful that I don't have to share her with anyone!

Fourth, I am so blessed to have such good friends.

Katelyn and Whitney have been my best friends since I was a

sophomore in high school. We have all been through a lot together;

break-ups, friends, arguements, moving, weddings, and much more

and through it all I am still so close to both of them, and I am so

happy to have 2 such amazing girls in my life...they are really like

my sisters!

Fifth, I am so blessed to have 3 amazing sister-in-laws;

Sheena, Amber, and Lindsay! Since I don't

have any sisters it is so much fun to have awesome

sister-in-laws! When ever we get together we have the best time

and they all really feel like my family, not just like my husband's family!

And, all of us had babies this year, so we are going to

be able to raise 4 little ones together, I am so excited to

make memories with them at the lake, family reunions, and other adventures!

Okay, so as just a side note, Landon and I are going on a little vacation in May to Las Vegas! We are really excited to go on a little vacation after he gets done with his PTA program, and I get finished with my medical transcription program! But anyway, I just wanted to know if any of you had any fun ideas of things to see, places to eat, or things that we just can't miss when we go! So if you could help with any ideas that would be awesome!

4 Months Already!!

I really can't believe that my little guy is 4 months old! He is so much fun! I just love being a Mom! Here are some fun things about my buddy boy--

He loves to smile...thats my favorite thing, in the morning when he wakes up I tell him good morning and he just smiles at me!
He is such a wiggler, when I put him to bed at night I have to put him towards the bottom of his crib, because in the morning he is all the way at the top!
He still loves sleeping on his stomach and tummy time! And he is a champ at rolling over!
He is grabbing on to all sorts of things when I hold him, its my hair! Anything that he can grab on to he puts in his mouth...so I have to make sure that my hair isn't in his hand!
He loves his Dad! Anytime Landon is walking around the house and I am holding Hunter, he just follows him!
He is still such a GOOD baby! He only cries when he is hungry and sometimes tired!
He LOVES his bath, he has figured out how to splash with his legs and hands, and he smiles the whole time!
He also really likes to stand...I think that if he could he would want me to hold him in standing position all day!
His latest thing is that he has discovered the dogs, he will just look at them and then open his mouth wide when they are right by him, I really hope he isn't wanting to stick that in his mouth too!
I love having such a cute happy baby, its so much fun! I just can't believe how fast time goes, it feels like I just had him!

Holiday Whirlwind...

Wow we have been so so busy these last couple of months! This is really the first chance I have had to sit down and update our blog! Hunter and I have been out of town for basically the whole month of December, just coming home for a few days here and there to do laundry and stuff like that, so it is nice to finally be home! Well we started our holidays in Idaho Falls with the Burt family for Thanksgving and my birthday, I went up a couple days before Thanksgiving and Landon had to come up the day of because he had work that morning, I will be so glad when May comes around so he wont have to work retail anymore! Anyway, that weekend one of my best friends, Katelyn got married. The wedding was sooo beautiful and so was Kate (I really loved her hair and her dress!), she really did look stunning! It was also a fun weekend because I got to spend the day with one of my other best friends Whitney! Its so fun to see them both when ever I can, we have been good friends since high school so we are really close!*Photos from April Highams camera

So that next weekend I went to Landon's extended family Christmas party, Landon could not come againg because of work, but Hunter and I made the trip to Logan! We had a really good time, I love Landon's family they are all such kind and good people! And I get along so well with my sister in-laws, we always have a blast when we get together! That weekend we also had Hunter's blessing and woulden't you know that I wouldn not take one picture of the whole day when I specifically remebered to put the camera in the diaper bag, but oh well there is nothing I can do about it now. Landon gave Hunter a beautiful blessing and we were able to have lots of friends and family there as well, it was a good day!

Well the next couple of weeks were filled with me going to Idaho Falls to shop for Christmas, and Hunter and I spending time with my family! It is so nice because whenever I go up to IF and I need someone to watch Hunter( I hate taking him out unless I have to, I really don't want to have a sick baby!) my little brother Jed will always watch him, and he is sooo good with him!

The 19th of December came around and Lindsay, Landon's younger sister had her baby. She had a few complications, but the baby and Lindsay were doing great after the delivery! And now all the babies in Landon's family are here! Hunter is going to LOVE having all of these cousins his same age, it will be good because he probably wont have a cousin on the Burt side for quite some time.

There is Lexie who is about six almost seven months, and Wyatt who is 5 months, Hunter who is 3 months and Grayson who is brand new!!! We are so happy all of them are healthy and happy babies!

For the week of Christmas, I again went up to Idaho Falls, (we should really just move there it would save us so much gas money!) my mom had the week off and we would not be there for Christmas so we hung out there for 2 days, and opened presents from my family and they were so generous, you know you are a grown up when you get baby formula for Christmas and that is you most favorite present! We got a ton of other great stuff too. Then we headed to Logan Christmas Eve night to be with Landon's family. We had such a fun time being with all of them, so much food such great presents and great company. This Christmas was my first Christmas being away from my family and I was kindof sad, but I had so much fun in Logan I didn't even think about it!

One Month

Well today Hunter is one month old! It has been such a fast month, and so fun! I really love being a mom! Hunter is so cute and everyday he looks older to me! He has really been a good baby, he only wakes up in the night when he needs to be fed, other than that he sleeps through the night. I really like our time in the morning when he wakes up, and is awake for a few hours and I can play with him and see his blue eyes! We really haven't been to many places with him, with all the sickness going around I really don't want a sick baby, but we did get to go to Logan last Sunday and show Hunter off to Landon's grandma and grandpa. I wish we could go down there more often to see Landon's parents, I really love Logan, but I am excited because we will be blessing Hunter down there so more family can come and also spending Christmas down there.

But really the month has flown by I can't believe how fast the holidays are coming...time really does fly when you get older, I remember when I was little and a half hour seemed like a whole week now a week seems like a day! We are really getting excited for the holidays around here (ok mostly me!) I just love decorating my house and baking, and my really good friend Kate is getting married at the end of November, so that will be a great day as well! So many fun things in the upcoming months, and I just can't wait!

Oh and as a side note, does anyone have any cute blessing outfit ideas for a little boy, all the ones I have found I hate they look like little doll costumes! So if any of you have any ideas or tips that would be so helpful.

Well I thought that I would hurry and share the story of how our little boy got here! Landon and I went into the doctor on the 23rd of September and my doctor gave me the go ahead to be induced on the 27th which actually is Landon's birthday! We were so excited! He told us to come into the hospital at 5:30 that night. So on Sunday Landon and I went to church and then came home and made last minute preparations. We cleaned the house and got packed to go to the hospital, I thought that the day would drag on forever but it actually went pretty fast! So around 5:30 we headed to the hospital, the night was pretty uneventful, they were just trying to get me to start labor slow so they gave me some pills, I had some small contractions but nothing to major. That next morning, they were making me change position a lot while I was laying down because they didn't like what Hunter's heart beat was doing. My doctor finally came in and broke my water to see if we could get his heart rate a little more normal, when he did this my contractions completely stopped and Hunter's heart rate got more irregular. I wasn't that worried until my doctor looked at me and said we have to have an emergency C-section and I think that we need to hurry so we have to but you under GA and Landon can't come in. I was so sad when I heard this. So the next thing that I knew there we like 10 people in my room asking me questions and getting me ready to go into surgery. Everything was happening so fast that I didn't even have time to be scared or nervous. Luckily right before they took me in Hunter's heart rate perked right up and Landon was able to suit up and come in to see the birth. I went in they gave me a spinal block, and everything went perfect. Hunter was born at 9:13am on September 28th 2009. My recovery has been going great, I was really tired after everything so every picture of me I look exhausted. But I am so glad that Hunter is here. I am loving being a mom! Speaking on mom's I was so lucky to have my mom stay with us after we got home from the hospital for like 5 days, it was so fun to have her around I didn't want her to go home! But now we are getting into a schedule, Hunter is such a good baby and sleeps most of the time! We got his newborn pictures done yesterday (I will post those when I get them back!) and he was such a good boy, even though he peed twice! (Once all over Landon!) But Landon and I are loving being parents we can't get enough of our little guy!

Back to Blogging

So I know that I haven't blogged in forever, but now that I am not working and am now a stay at home mom I thought that I would get back to it so everyone could know how our little family is doing! A lot had happened since April, we re did some things in our house...this endeavour took the whole summer! We painted, re did the bathroom, put in new baseboards and doors, and also put in new tile and carpet. This was all in preparation for our new addition to our family. Everything turned out so nice, I wish that I could put before and after pictures on here but we had no camera for the whole summer. We also did some really cute things in our 2ND bedroom and now have a really fun nursery. Its not all the way finished, I still am looking for a few things for the shelves, and we just got Hunter's newborn pictures taken, so I am also waiting to get those back so I can hang them up! But other than that I really like the way things turned out. Landon is back in school he is almost done with his physical therapy assistant program and then it is off to PT or PA school for us! We also welcomed our new addition to the family on September 29th, he is sooo cute and we are so lucky to have such a good little boy, he only wakes up in the night when he needs to eat and then right back to sleep he goes! And he hardly ever cries, unless he needs something! I am such a lucky mom! So wish me luck in this blogging venture, it is really one of my goals to be committed to being a semi regular blogger!

So Landon and I are very excited to announce that we will be parents on October 6th! I don't have much to post about it, just that we are really happy and can't wait! I am 14 weeks tomorrow and am starting to feel a little better from all the morning sickness! We went to the doctor today and got to hear the heart beat and get a little ultra sound....it was sooo cool! We will be finding out what we are having in the middle of May! So there you go, no other real big updates just excited for school to be over and summer to come! And that we are going to be doing some work on the house before the baby comes! We really can't wait till October!

Many Posts Long Over Due!!!

Well it has been forever since I have updated this thing! I can't even get a moment to see my husband let alone blog! So I thought that I would post some pictures and let everyone know that we are still alive and update about what has been going on since the holidays with Landon and I. Well to start off Christmas was a very fun, but way to short! Landon and I both had to work Christmas Eve and then be back to work the morning on the day after Christmas, oh the joys of working retail! We got to go to my parents this year and spend some time with them so that was really nice. We also were able to talk to my brother Preston who is serving a mission for our church in Arizona, that was so awesome to talk to him! He has only been out for about six months and it already feels like a life time!

Ok so i can't get any of my pictures from Christmas to post so I guess it wasn't meant to be!

So for new years this year Landon and I got to go up to Bear Lake with his family. It was so good to see everyone and just hang out for a few days! We got to go play out in the snow, so this meant that I had to go purchase all new stuff since I haven't owned a pair of snow pants or snow boots since i was like 10 years old! I really don't like the cold or winter that much so my logic is why go outside and hang out in it! But it ended up being so much fun, we got to go sledding, and played on the ice!

Now that the holidays are all over Landon and I are back in school and working our bums off. Landon and I both have sixteen credits this semester and are working 40 hours a week, sometimes I really don't know how we do it and still stay sane, and in love since we never see each other! Landon is really such an amazing husband though, I know that people do special posts about their husbands all the time but I did just want to say how lucky I am to have married such a great guy that is so hard working, and never complains. A couple weeks ago I was at work and Landon and I had not seen each other for a few days (except for when our day was over and we were sleeping). So any way I was at work and all the sudden I look up and there is a lady with a big bouquet of flowers saying my name! He was such a sweetheart and had gotten me flowers, just to let me know that he still thought I was a hottie!! hahah! He really is the best, and if it were not for him and his great personality I don't think I could get through my weeks!

Well I hope that we will have some fun posts to come, Landon and I have been thinking about going on a little get away before life gets much more crazy. And hopefully I will be able to get together with my two best friends Whitney and Katelyn for a long over due girls weekend. Also I think that my sister in laws and I are going to be planning a weekend get away as well, Landon's sister Sheena and his brothers wife Amber are expecting babies this year so we better go while we can, P.S. I am so excited for them!

Landon and I also got our Christmas present for this year. We got a 42 inch plasma for a really good deal that we could not resist! When we bought it Landon and I looked at each other and said MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! But it is really nice to have a tv again to watch movies on and stuff cause we left our other one in Philly becuase Landon did not want to take it home!

I also thought that it would be fun to post this picture of our dog Summit, he is in dear need of a hair cut but i thought he looked cute with his beard with snow all in it! I was so excited becuase today it snowed for the first time this winter, I only hope it keeps coming! I ususally dont like the snow but I do LOVE it durring the Christmas season! I just dosent feel like Christmas without it!

SO really I suck at blogging....but at least I am making some kind of effort! Well Landon and I have been so busy we barley get to see eachother, I guess both of us working full time jobs and going to school full time doesnt leave much extra time! School is going great for both of us...I am almost done, only one semester left---YAHOOO!! And Landon is just so excited for Christmas Break. So last week was my 21st birthday and can I just say that I have the best husband EVER, he made my birthday so special.....he is the best guy! So on Thanksgiving we go to go to Logan, Utah and spending the day with Landon's family. We had a great time and got to see some people that we had not seen since we had been home from Philly! I really love spending time with Landon's brothers and sister and their spouses, and his parents, we really just have a great time---I wish we could see eachother more! Any way we are really getting excited for Christmas, I love christmas time--just like everyone else! One of the biggest reasons that I love Christmas time is it reminds me of when Landon and I started dating, I really cant believe that was 2 years ago..time really does fly! One thing about this Christmas season that will be really different is that my whole family wont be there, Preston is serving a mission in Arizona. I am so so proud of him he has been out almost 4 months and he was just made a senior companion and a district leader. I really miss him so much, his last letter home he sounded like he was getting so home sick, so I really hope that the holidays are going to go well for him, it will be so so fun to talk to him on Christmas Day. It is amazing how much I can already tell that he has grown up, he just sounds so different in his e-mails, I really cant wait for him to get home. Well he have the the Christmas decorations up and are very excited for the holidays! We hope to see lots of family and friends over the break!

So Landon and I are home from Philly, and we are loving it! Its so nice to be back in our own house, and being able to get back into the grove of things! So Landon and I are both in school so that is taking up a lot of out time. And we are also both working, I got an amazing job at The Buckle, I am an assistant Manager, I get a great discount and a couple of other perks so its really really great I LOVE IT! And Landon is back working at Sports Authority, he has been a lead since we have been back, but last Wednesday he interviewed for a management position, and he got it! It is really such a blessing that we both have great jobs and and are going to be able to save some money! We are also thinking about doing some things to the house, i just painted my cabinets and they look AWESOME...my friend from high school had done the same thing to hers and put the pictures on her blog and i loved them so i had to copy her! Thanks Darci! And way we are thinking about new carpet, new tile, new doors, painting, new moulding...and I am really excited about it all! So everything is going really great right now, I guess I am just a pessimist because i keep wondering with all this stuff going to great, what really bad thing is going to happen to us and when...but i really should just enjoy having stuff work out, but really isn't that the way stuff always goes?!?!? Anyway its Landon's Birthday this week and I have NO clue what to get him we are going to Utah though because its his cousin's wedding the day of Landon's birthday, so hopefully I can cook something up by then!

New York, New York

Going to New York was really new, fun, and exciting! We drove to Newark NJ and then took a train into New York City. When I got out of the train station I was so overwhelmed to say the very least! There are so many people, building, cars, buses, and a lot going on! We decided to take a double decker sightseeing bus, which was really fun. We got to see canal street, which was crazy! We also went to ground zero, it was so weird to see where all of the happened, i could not even believe how big the building must have been and all of the damage that happened. About this time it started raining and didn't really stop for really about the rest of the time we were there. We also rode the ferry and got to see the Statue of Liberty which was so cool. And then we went to Times Square and Broadway. It was so much to take in but so awesome as well! I am so glad that we got to go to New York while we were out here because I have always wanted to, and always wondered if I really would ever get to go.

For my mom's birthday this year she flew out to come stay with Landon and I for about a week! It was so good to see her and so very much fun to have her here! We did a lot of really fun stuff while she was here. We go to go see down town Philly, also we went to the Valley Forge National Park, then we got to go to New York and see all the fun sights. It was an awesome week, it was more like a present for me than her, because i finally had someone to hang out with during the day. Landon works from 11:30 in the morning to 10:00 at night six days a week so I am stuck by myself most of the time, and it was so great to have someone to pal around with. It has been crazy this summer living away from family and missing so much. We are missing Preston's farewell, and missing being there while Lindsay plans her wedding that is coming up in August. I think that both Landon and I are getting ready to be home again,to be with family and friends.

Landon and I knew we wanted to go to the ocean while we are here, and a good day of weather came so we could not resist! We went to a little city right on the beach near Atlantic City. We had such a relaxing day and got to eat some really yummy ice cream. And we also realized how awesome Landon's farmers tan has gotten!

Hershey, PA

I had heard that Hershey, PA smells like chocolate, and for that reason alone Landon and I had to go! It was about a two hour drive from where we live, so i wasn't all that excited (you have to remember that a couple weeks before this Landon and I had traveled 32 hours in a car from Pocatello, Idaho to Valley Forge Pennsylvania). But actually the drive was really nice we saw some Amish county which was so cool. When we got to Hershey we rolled down the windows to smell the chocolaty air, it didn't smell like chocolate when you are far from the factory but the closer you get the more it does really smell like chocolate! Hershey is such a cute little city, really surrounded by nothing but farm land. But they do have a really big theme park, and a place called Chocolate World. Landon and I went to the Chocolate World but the theme park is definitely on our to-do list! Anyway Chocolate World was fun, they have a little ride that explains how chocolate is made, which was way cool!

Ok, so I have decided that I really stink at this blogging thing I mean seriously Landon and I have been in Philadelphia for a good part of the summer now and I am just blogging the stuff that happened in June. Well i guess in my defence, our camera did break so that did put a small damper on things, but we got a new one so i will let you know what we have been up to.

For all of you that didn't know Landon and I decided to go to Philly for the summer to sell security systems, it has been an adventure and we would be coming back next summer but Landon got in his program at school so he will be doing clinicals next summer!

When Landon and I got here in May you could say it was a bit of a culture shock. The highway system here is wack and everyone drives so so fast, and since Landon and I are accustomed to Idaho highways we were shell shocked! So after a few weeks of living in Valley Forge and getting familiar with the area we decided to venture out to Down town Philly and see some of the sights.

First we went and got Philly Cheese steaks at a local favorite. This was an experience all in itself, you have to order a certain way and if you take to much time you can tell they get really irritated! So we ordered a cheese steak wit whiz, this means a cheese steak with onions and cheese whiz, this is how most people from Philly like theirs so we figured when in Rome! The cheese steaks were way good, and way huge.

Next we ventured to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. The Liberty Bell was awesome..and that's all i really have to say about that sight! Then at Independence Hall we were waiting in line to go inside the actual building and next thing I know Landon is telling me that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are standing like 10 feet away from us. At first I didn't believe him, but the more we looked we realized that it really was them. So to make this story a little bit shorter we didn't end up seeing Independence Hall that day, Landon wanted to follow them instead, so that really shows you how patriotic we are...hahah!

After this we walked to LOVE park and down to the Philly Art Museum which is known for the stairs from the Rocky movie, it looked like a short walk...wrong...and I was wearing the worst shoes, but over all it was really fun.

Philly is the 6Th biggest city in the nation, so it was really neat to see some of the sights, and eat some of the native food, we really had such a good time.

So Landon and I finally know when we are leaving to Phili for the summer....We are taking off on May 3rd!!! We are really excited to get out there and see the sites and live back east..it will be an experience to remember! And now finally I am going to get really good at posting because i will have things to post about!

Can't Wait For Spring

So i thought that I would do a little update on our blog to bring spring a little faster....Landon and I are both so sick of the winter we wish that it would only last for the month of December. The month of February has gone by so so fast! We had a great Valentines Day..we got to go up to Idaho Falls ( I love it when we travel!!! HAHA--yea i wish!) any way and stay in a really nice hotel and have a great dinner. It was really good to be able to spend some quality time with Landon becuase we really never get to see eachother very much. So many things are fast aproaching...Landon and I have decided to work in Phili for the summer, we are going to sell security systems or rather Landon is I don't really know what I am going to do yet, so I guess we will see! We really wanted to go not to try to make tons of money although that would be nice but just to be able to live in a different place for a little bit, it will be fun to be able to live back east in a different culture for a while! So other than that nothing else has really been going on, i don't blog very much becuase like I told Sheena (Landon's sister) Landon and I are so busy to have somthing really worth writing about all the time but its still fun to be able to write from time to time!

This is Landon, just thought I would drop in my two cents. I am in school right now and kinda loving it, I'd much have it done and over with. I spend most of my time at school, work and try to be with my hot wife as much as I can. I wish we had more time in the day to be with one another, other than that life is normal. Just chill'n in P-town.

So this year was me and Landon's first Christmas together... We went to Idaho Falls to be with our families and we had such a good time! It was so nice to see everyone and be able to have a little bit of time off work. It snowed so much while we were there i have not seen it snow like that in Idaho Falls in a long time! We went and played out in it with the dogs for a while and out little dog fitzy got totally buried it was so deep...so needless to say she didn't like it very much and wanted to go inside from the beginning....but Summit our bigger dog loved it! We had a very good Christmas and we are very blessed, we got everything we needed wanted and then some! I was so excited for Christmas morning because I am never able to surprise Landon one way or another he finds out(usually because i suck at keeping secrets!) but i fooled him into thinking that he was going to get a video camera when all he would tell me was how much he wanted an X-Box, and of course being the good wife I am (jk!) I got him one and he was so excited! This Christmas was I think extra special for both Landon and I...Preston was able to come home from Seattle for a couple of days. Preston has been living there probably since October, with my Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jeff just working before he goes on his mission in probably late June or early July. And also Landon's brother Chris got engaged to a great girl that i graduated with named Amber, they are getting marred in March so I will probably post some pictures of their wedding when that comes around! So all in all our first Christmas went great with all the snow and the chance to be around all the people that we love!

Alright so i thought it would be fun to do this blog post thing...This past weekend Landon and I went to the Gerber family christmas party. We had such a great time i love Landon's family, but any way i was talking to his cousins wife Martha about how she does this blog and I got kinda interested in it, so i thought i would try it out! I think it will be fun to let people that we know in on things that Landon and I are doing!
